Jack Bender, CEO, started Bender, Inc. (formally Bender Graphics) in 1989 after being a part of a weekly community newspaper for over 32 years. "We love what we do. The passion we have for the printing business incites us to take ownership of our customers projects and drives us to deliver the highest quality products possible." In 1991, David Bender joined Bender, Inc. and the business grew quickly and within a few short months, Bender, Inc. had achieved record growth in sales. In order to service our customers more efficiently in 1992 Ken Ballheimer and Jim Bender joined the Bender, Inc. printing team. They helped to produce even more record sales periods. In July 1996, Bender, Inc. moved to their Watson location to better facilitate its products for its customers.
In 2005, Bender Inc. moved to their current 45,000 square foot facility located in Fenton, MO, allowing the expansion of services to include warehousing and order fulfillment. Bender, Inc. is dedicated to quality printing and direct mail solutions, with customers ranging from the neighborhood Mom and Pop shop to Fortune 500 companies. David Bender, President of Bender, Inc. states that "Although we're proud of our products, services and technology, nothing matches the pride we have in our staff. Our sales personnel bring to the customer and the potential customer, knowledge of what Bender Inc. is all about and what changes and advancements have been made in the printing industry. We learned a long time ago that we are really in the business of building relationships." |
"The preparation of the printed piece is foremost to our customer," Ken Ballheimer, Vice President of Operations, believes. Ballheimer specializes in pre-press presentation and production. "We do everything we can to make our operations and equipment accessible and convenient to our customers. We work fast and efficient to get the product ready for press and our master craftsmen follow through to give the product significant quality and beauty."
Jim Bender, Executive Vice President, has responsibilities in areas of coordination of printed projects and is responsible for any finishing work that needs to be done on those projects. "Every effort is made to finish the customer's project on time. That time is when the customer wants his project complete and delivered to him. There are no exceptions."
